I have my friend Luke on Last.fm to thank for giving me the heads up, so massive Hails to him!

Yeah, you're right Chris - that is a really good album. The first Palace of Worms record is good too, but this one is much, much better.

sorry to spam the comments with a link to my site but i figured some people might be interested in it.

@krumbled... what's the demo/record like compared to his newest? the one-sheet i got along with the new CD said Balan eschewed post-rock elements from his demo with this new album. color me curious though... i'd love to hear it.

Honestly, I didn't hear a whole lot of those "post-rock elements" on the first album/demo. It's by all means a good record, but it just sounded like straight up black metal to me. I've listened to plenty of post-rock, but just didn't hear it there.

And I don't think you need to apologize for putting a link to the LeftHand Path website in your comment. It's a good site, though I have to admit that I just about NEVER have any idea what the hell Stewart Voegtlin is talking about.

Ahhh shit man, I've had that Palace of Worms saved as draft for 2 months. Whoops. Great CD.

As for Left Hand Path.... brothers in arms... great site!

And Stewart rules.... no idea indeed.
