Thou and PG.99 Preorders at Robotic Empire

New preorders have gone up at Robotic Empire -always an event in itself - and this time, they are headlined by a new Thou 12". The Archer and The Owle EP consists of six songs and nearly forty minutes of Thou's signature style of Louisiana sludge. This includes the two tracks from the Summit CD which were not included on the LP version, a down-tuned, slowed-down cover of Nirvana's "Something in the Way", and three other tracks. Virtual gold, obviously. Comes on color vinyl (1500 transparent red, 500 grey) housed in a beautiful spot-glossed "tip-on" classic style gatefold LP jacket. Also includes a patch. For the lover of all things analog, there is a cassette version available as well.

Next, a repress of the reissue of Pg.99's classic punk record Document 8. Remixed by the band and Converge's Kurt Ballou, and including two bonus tracks, this comes with the original artwork as well as an alternate version and a 16-page book. 600 on black vinyl, and 200 each on red and white wax.

Also available for the first time is Singles, a 12" press collecting songs from Pg.99's career - songs from 7"s, compilations, EPs and demos, this is a valuable retrospective. Mastered by James Plotkin. 600 black wax, 200 each of blue and green wax.

Both of these Pg.99 LP's are absolutely essential. And it should go without saying that all Thou releases receive the highest possible recommendation. Go to Robotic Empire and preorder them now -they'll be shipping in the next week or two.
