Trilobite, Delusions of Grandeur 12"

Sludgy, doom-y, instrumental post-metal from Florida, by a band called Trilobite, which you can check out here or here. I really enjoyed listening to this, as the songs, while heavy and rhythmically driving, are also quite catchy at times. The band features two core members, Alexander Toulas and Rob Murray, and the album includes contributions from a host of others, including the legendary Billy Anderson (who also mixed and mastered the EP). The artwork was done by none other than Justin Bartlett

You can stream the album at the band's bandcamp page. There you will also be able to preorder the digital version of the EP, and you will be linked to Ivory Antler Records, where you can preorder the 12" on black or PRIMORDIAL SOUP colored vinyl, among other things. The label has a lot of awesome stuff in the works (new Gates material...), so keep your eyes fixed there for the news.
